Isle of Man Chiropractor : Second Visit
Report of Findings:

On your second visit we explain the results of your x-rays, your computer generated posture analysis, and your SRE (see below) and how these compare to the norm. The results of these will help explain what may be contributing to your problems and how we may be able to help you. After we study your health history and correlate our examination findings, we’ll make recommendations designed to help you get and keep your health. We call this the Report of Findings.
Stress Response Evaluation (SRE):
This is performed by the Neuroinfinity, a cutting edge piece of technology used to determine how well your nervous system is performing under different stressful situations. It incorporates an EEG (to measure your Brain Wave activity); Heart rate variability (a very reliable measure of heart health); Heart Rate; Skin Conductance (sweatiness of the hands); Skin Temperature, Respiration Rate; and Surface EMG- (muscle tension). These measurements, recorded under different stressful scenarios( mental, physical and emotional), enables us to establish how well you function under stress and how this may be impacting your healing capabilities and your health as a whole. It also gives us invaluable information on the type and intensity of adjustments that you are more likely to respond well to, and the duration and frequency of care that will best suit the current state of your nervous system.
This is often done on the day following the initial visit but may occasionally be on the same day if a patient prefers to have all the tests done together.
This approach accomplishes several things:
- Reduces the length of your first visit
- Gives us time to correlate our findings and assess which interventions will be most appropriate and effect the best correction for the patient
- Avoids overloading you with too much information
In certain situations, and in the professional judgment of Thompson, we sometimes make exceptions. It just depends on your unique situation.
Your Regular visits will not be as long as your first or second visits to Align 4 Life.
